We are looking for a skilled Fitter to assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical components and machinery as per technical drawings and specifications. The candidate should have hands-on experience with tools, measurements, and fitting techniques to ensure accurate and safe operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
Assemble, fit, and install mechanical parts, machines, and equipment
Measure and mark components using precision instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Perform alignment, leveling, and calibration of machinery
Inspect and test fitted components for accuracy and functionality
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance
Identify defects and perform necessary corrections
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians
Maintain records of maintenance and repair work
Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting and tools
Ability to read technical drawings
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic welding knowledge (preferred)
ITI / Diploma in Fitter or Mechanical Trade
3–5 years of relevant experience (can be adjusted as required)
