JOB DESCRIPTION: FACTORY SUPERVISOR

Location: Rai, Sonipat, Haryana
Minimum Experience: 5 years as a Factory Supervisor
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Working Days: 6 days a week
Gender: Male preferred

Role Objective

To independently manage day-to-day factory operations, labour productivity, inventory records and contractor/vendor coordination, ensuring that assigned work is completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

1. Factory and Labour Management

• Supervise daily factory-floor activities and labour.

• Allocate work and monitor productivity, attendance and discipline.

• Ensure work is completed according to timelines and quality expectations.

• Identify delays and take timely corrective action.

2. Stock and Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate Excel records of materials received, issued, consumed and available.

• Conduct weekly physical stock verification.

• Reconcile physical stock with records and immediately report shortages, excess stock, damage or mismatches.

• Ensure proper material storage and control.

3. Vendor and Contractor Coordination

• Coordinate with painters, electricians, civil contractors, plumbers, tile workers, fabricators and other vendors.

• Follow up on pending work, timelines, quality and site readiness.

• Ensure contractors report on time and complete assigned work as scheduled.

• Escalate delays and unresolved issues promptly.

4. Daily Reporting and Accountability

• Submit daily updates covering labour attendance, work completed, pending work, stock status and vendor progress.

• Prepare the next day's priorities.

• Take ownership of assigned factory activities and follow through until completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Factory Supervisor.

• Experience managing labour, factory operations and day-to-day execution.

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory records.

• Strong follow-up, problem-solving and coordination skills.

• Honest, disciplined, punctual and proactive.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for results.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
