Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Fabric Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle fabric sourcing, procurement, vendor coordination, and quality checks to ensure smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure various types of fabrics (knits, wovens, cotton, synthetics, blends, etc.) based on production and design requirements.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with fabric suppliers and mills.
Coordinate with vendors for sample development, lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk approvals.
Maintain comprehensive fabric inventory records, tracking orders from placement to final delivery.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure fabrics meet technical specifications and company standards.
Collaborate closely with the design, production, and quality assurance teams to resolve any fabric-related issues.
