Fabric & Material Procurement Executive

Location: 36, Bhajiwala Estate, Ankur Char Rasta, Mini Bazar, Surat
Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month
Experience: 1–3 Years
Petrol Allowance: ₹2,000 per month
Vehicle: Candidate must have their own bike

Job Summary

We are looking for a Fabric & Material Procurement Executive who will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing fabrics, handwork materials, raw materials, Sherwani accessories, and other required materials for the manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase fabric as per requirements provided by the Design Team.

• Visit markets and vendors for material sourcing and procurement.

• Search for new fabrics and materials and compare rates and quality.

• Purchase handwork materials required for Choli, Sherwani, and other garments.

• Procure raw materials such as lining, canvas, solder pads, and other required materials.

• Purchase Sherwani accessories from approved vendors.

• Coordinate with vendors regarding rates, quality, quantity, and delivery.

• Verify received materials against bills and required quantities.

• Coordinate with the Handwork and concerned departments for material checking.

• Submit verified bills to the Accounts Department.

• Handle urgent material requirements to ensure manufacturing work is not delayed.

• Report any rate difference, quality issue, shortage, or delivery delay to the Reporting Head.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing.

• Knowledge of fabrics and garment-related materials.

• Good vendor coordination and negotiation skills.

• Good knowledge of market rates and material quality.

• Good communication and follow-up skills.

• Ability to manage urgent procurement requirements.

• Must have own bike for market/vendor visits.
