Job Summary
The Maintenance Person is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and facility systems used in wood pallet manufacturing operations. The role ensures maximum equipment uptime, safe working conditions, and efficient production by performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance
Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of pallet manufacturing machines, saws, nail guns, conveyors, compressors, and related equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Replace defective parts, bearings, belts, chains, motors, and other machine components.
Ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Preventive Maintenance
Execute preventive maintenance schedules according to company standards.
Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
Conduct lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of equipment.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production stoppages.
Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with production personnel to minimize downtime.
Facility Maintenance
Maintain factory infrastructure including lighting, electrical systems, air compressors, water systems, and building maintenance.
Ensure workshop tools and maintenance equipment are in good condition.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
Report unsafe conditions immediately.
Inventory & Spare Parts
Monitor spare parts inventory.
Assist in ordering maintenance supplies and replacement parts.
Maintain proper storage and tracking of spare parts.
Qualifications
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
2–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, woodworking, pallet production, or industrial environments.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Basic welding and fabrication skills are preferred.

Working Hours: As per production schedule, including overtime or shift work when required.
