Job description

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Good understanding of CT, PT and Breaker construction and working principles.

• Knowledge of Electrical testing instruments and measuring devices.

• Familiarity with IS / IEC standards related to instrument transformers.

Preferred candidate profile

• Attention to detail and quality-oriented approach.

• Willingness to learn and grow (especially for freshers).

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform routine, type, and special tests on Current Transformers (CT), Potential Transformers (PT) and Circuit Breakers (CB) as per IS / IEC standards.

• Prepare and verify test reports, calibration records, and documentation.

• Ensure testing activities comply with quality standards and customer specifications.

• Identify test failures, analyse root causes, and support corrective actions.

• Maintain testing equipment, instruments, and testing area.

• Follow safety procedures during high-voltage testing.

• Core responsibilities - Includes the full lifecycle of automation equipment from initial installation and commissioning to routine, maintenance and emergency troubleshooting
