Dispatch Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to manage daily dispatch operations, ensure accurate order processing, and coordinate timely dispatch of finished goods from the factory. The role involves handling documentation, coordinating with logistics partners, and ensuring smooth outward movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dispatch Operations

• Plan and supervise daily dispatch activities as per sales orders.

• Ensure correct picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.

• Verify quantity, SKU, batch number, and packaging before dispatch.

• Ensure FIFO / FEFO compliance.

2. Documentation & Coordination

• Prepare and verify dispatch documents:

  • Invoice

  • E-way bill

  • Delivery challan

  • LR / Transport documents

• Coordinate with logistics partners, transporters, and warehouse staff.

• Ensure timely vehicle placement and loading.

3. Inventory & Stock Control

• Update dispatch records and stock movement.

• Coordinate with stores and production for stock availability.

• Monitor dispatch vs order plan and report shortages or delays.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure products are dispatched in proper condition.

• Ensure packaging, labeling, and palletization are as per standards.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and safety norms.

5. Team Supervision

• Manage loading staff and helpers.

• Ensure discipline, safety, and productivity.

• Allocate work as per shift plan.

6. Reporting

• Maintain daily dispatch report.

• Track pending, dispatched, and delayed orders.

• Report issues to Warehouse / Operations Manager.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience: 2–5 years in Dispatch / Warehouse / Logistics

• Experience in FMCG / Food / Beverage industry preferred

• Knowledge of:

  • Dispatch & logistics process

  • E-way bill & invoicing

  • FIFO / FEFO

• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP preferred)

• Ability to work in rotational shifts

• Good coordination & communication skills

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in FMCG / Beverage manufacturing

• Familiar with local transporters

• Nearby location preferred (Bahadurgarh / Rohtak / Delhi NCR)
