Dispatch Manager – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Dispatch Planning – Plan daily dispatches as per production schedule and customer requirements.

2. Order Verification – Check orders, quantities, specifications, and delivery details before dispatch.

3. Material Coordination – Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, and Sales teams for timely dispatch.

4. Loading & Packing – Ensure proper packing, labeling, and safe loading of finished goods.

5. Transport Management – Arrange vehicles and coordinate with transporters for on-time delivery.

6. Documentation – Prepare and verify invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and other dispatch documents.

7. Dispatch Records – Maintain daily dispatch records, vehicle details, and delivery status.

8. Quality & Quantity Check – Ensure the correct material and quantity are dispatched without damage.

9. Delivery Tracking – Monitor shipments and coordinate with customers/transporters regarding delivery.

10. Team Management – Supervise dispatch staff, loaders, drivers, and helpers.

11. Safety & Compliance – Ensure safe handling, loading, and transportation of materials.

12. Reporting – Prepare daily/weekly dispatch reports and highlight delays or issues.
