1. Machine Setup & Operation
Read, interpret, and follow daily production orders, layouts, and blue-print structures.
Perform safe installation and precise alignment of cutting dies, stripping templates, and creasing matrixes.
Set and adjust machine parameters including pressure settings, speed, feeder gates, and delivery stacks based on different paperboards and thickness levels.
Feed raw materials (corrugated sheets/duplex boards) cleanly into the automated feeder mechanism.
2. Quality Control & Precision Inspection
Conduct a test-run check before commencing bulk production to verify dimensions, creases, scores, and slot alignments against the approval sample.
Closely monitor the active production run to quickly catch material defects such as cracking, warping, poor creasing, or incorrect cuts.
Ensure minimal raw material wastage or trim loss during the die-punching process.
3. Routine Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Clean, lubricate, and perform minor daily maintenance on the die-cutting unit to prevent operational downtime.
Efficiently troubleshoot minor mechanical errors or jam-ups during the shift.
Report complex mechanical, electrical, or structural tool issues immediately to the maintenance supervisor or engineering team.
Keep the punching station and immediate work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
4. Safety & Shift Compliance
Strictly adhere to industrial safety rules, including the correct deployment of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like safety shoes and gloves.
Coordinate with helpers at the converting area to ensure smooth material flow and clean stacking of punched blanks.
