We are looking for a skilled Cylindrical Grinder Operator to operate cylindrical grinding machines and produce precision components according to drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate cylindrical grinding machines efficiently and safely.
Set and operate the machine according to job requirements.
Perform external and internal cylindrical grinding operations.
Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications.
Maintain required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.
Select suitable grinding wheels and perform wheel dressing.
Check job dimensions using micrometer, vernier, bore gauge, and other measuring instruments.
Monitor the grinding process and make necessary machine adjustments.
Identify defects and ensure minimum rejection and rework.
