CNC मशीन ऑपरेटर

sets up, operates, and maintains Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to create precise parts from materials like metal or plastic, reading blueprints, loading materials, adjusting machine settings (feeds, speeds, tools), running test cycles, inspecting finished products for quality, and performing routine maintenance and cleaning, ensuring safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Set up, program, and run CNC machines (lathes, mills, routers) for cutting, drilling, shaping.

• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models

  .

• Material Handling: Load raw materials and unload finished parts safely.

• Quality Control: Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet specifications.

• Machine Setup & Adjustments: Input codes, adjust tool paths, feeds, and speeds for accurate production.

• Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning, light maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and quality standards.

• Documentation: Keep logs of production runs and quality checks. 

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to read technical documents (blueprints).

• Familiarity with CNC software and hardware.

• Basic math (geometry, trigonometry).

• Understanding of manufacturing processes. 

Work Environment:

• Typically a factory or production floor.

• Can involve standing, operating machinery, and handling materials.

• Often an entry-level role with potential to advance to CNC Machinist.
