JOB PROFILE – WOODEN CNC ROUTER OPERATOR
Position: CNC Wood Router Operator
Department: Production / CNC
Location: Pune
Experience: Fresher / 1–3 Years
Employment: Full Time
1. JOB OBJECTIVE
To operate and maintain the CNC Wood Router Machine efficiently for manufacturing accurate and high-quality wooden/MDF/plywood components as per approved drawings, CNC programs and production requirements.
The candidate will also be trained in CNC programming, tool selection, setting, basic troubleshooting and production optimization.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CNC Machine Operation
Operate CNC Wood Router safely and efficiently.
Load and unload MDF, plywood, blockboard, solid wood and other sheet materials.
Set workpiece correctly using vacuum table, clamps and fixtures.
Set machine origin / work zero and verify job coordinates.
Execute CNC programs and monitor the cutting process.
Check first-piece output before starting batch production.
Drawing & CNC Program Understanding
Read basic 2D engineering / furniture drawings.
Understand dimensions, hole positions, cutting profiles and machining details.
Understand DXF/DWG files and CNC toolpaths.
Load and verify CNC programs before machining.
Coordinate with the AutoCAD/CNC Designer whenever drawing or program corrections are required.
