CNC Programmer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC machining programs for precision components. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CNC programming, machining processes, tooling, and engineering drawings to ensure high-quality production with maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Create and modify CNC programs for VMC, HMC, CNC Turning, and other CNC machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.
Generate CNC programs using CAM software (Mastercam, Powermill, NX CAM, SolidCAM, or similar).
Select cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies.
Optimize cycle times while maintaining product quality.
Perform prove-out of new programs and support first-piece inspection.
Troubleshoot machining issues and modify programs as required.
Work closely with production, quality, and design teams.
Maintain program documentation, setup sheets, and tooling records.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce machining costs.
Required Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or ITI with relevant CNC programming experience.
2–5+ years of CNC programming experience (depending on the position).
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC controllers.
Hands-on experience with CAM software such as Mastercam, Powermill, NX CAM, or SolidCAM.
Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting parameters, and tooling.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
