Civil Surveyor - Quality Control and Site Inspection

Surveyor (Civil) AMNS Quality Control. a) Validation of all the inspections and tests to be conducted by contractors as per Project's ITP (Inspection & Test Plan). b) Checking and verification of all the protocols submitted by Contractors. c) Witnessing and validation of mix trials (both in-house and at outside laboratory) conducted by Contractors. d) Checking and validation of project work as per approved FQP. e) Periodical checking of all incoming construction material w.r.t technical specification / MTC as applicable. Approval of incoming material by maintaining IMIR (Incoming Material Inspection Report). Site Inspection a) Verification and certification of construction method statement submitted by contractor. b) Checking of day-to-day construction works at site and ensuring the quality as per Construction drawing Construction methodology / Technical Specification / relevant Indian standard. c) Stagewise inspection of reinforcement & shuttering works as a pre-pour check. d) Checking and certification of fabricated items (like welding of insert plates) before it's use. e) Pre-pour final checking of all the concrete pours. Checks include accuracy of all reinforcement, dimensional tolerances and embedment (like insert plates, foundation bolts) as per drawing within tolerance limit. f) Post-pour inspection of structures to check the conformity. g) Raising NCRs for any major / minor defects as per Company's guideline / as directed by EIC. h) Physical checking and verification of structures for handing over to subsequent agencies after it's completion. Raising punch points for completion in totality handing over to Structural / Equipment agencies. Documentation a) Collection and documentation of all pour cards, protocols, test reports, MTCs, NCRs and it's closure reports etc. b) Tracking and record keeping of RMC production. c) Communicating and intimating EIC for any deviation w.r.t ITP / FQP / Construction methodology / Technical specification. Must have 3-8 yrs experience of inspection or QA/QC in Steel plant / Oil & Gas Refinery / Chemical Plant / Power Plant 2.Must have QA/QC experience in Piling inspection. 3.Must have experience in concrete inspection with various grads of concrete. 4.Must have experience in various types of soil testing. 5.Must have exposure of IS standards for civil work. 6.Must have knowledge of IS standard requirements of construction Bars. d) Submission of monthly presentation to EIC. Presentation should contain monthly RMC production details, Tests conducted, non-conformities (if any), Good Practices, Areas of improvement. Experience Level Mid Level
