Job Description – Junior Mechanical Design Engineer (CAD)

Company: Press Fit Pipe and Profile
Location: Ulhasnagar - Maharashtra
Experience: 0–3 Years (Freshers can apply)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Industry: Manufacturing – Electrical

Job Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Design components and assemblies for electrical products.

• Prepare engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions.

• Assist in developing prototypes using 3D printing.

• Coordinate with production and manufacturing teams.

• Modify designs as per technical requirements and feedback.

• Maintain design documents and technical records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Understanding of 2D drafting, 3D modelling and engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of 3D printing and injection moulding is an advantage.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
