We are looking for a Assembly Quality Inspector to join our team at Shree Quality Services. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹16,500 - ₹17,500 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.
Key Responsibilities:
nspect wheel assembly components and finished wheel assemblies as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of wheel assemblies.
Verify wheel assembly dimensions, runout, balancing, and other critical quality parameters as per customer requirements.
Inspect wheel rims, tyres, valves, fasteners, and other components for defects, damage, and dimensional variations, as applicable.
Check wheel assembly fitment, alignment, and proper assembly according to work instructions.
Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, torque wrenches, and other inspection tools as required.
Identify and segregate non-conforming products to prevent defective parts from moving to the next process or reaching the customer.
Record inspection results in check sheets, inspection reports, and quality records.
Monitor process quality and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and control plans.
Report quality issues, deviations, and recurring defects to the supervisor or quality engineer.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related problems.
Support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality defects.
Verify reworked or repaired wheel assemblies before approval for further processing or dispatch.
Ensure compliance with 5S, safety procedures, and workplace quality standards.
Support internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement activities.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 6 months - 1 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
