IT System Administrator
Location: Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore (CBE)

Shift: Day Shift (9:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT System Administrator to manage and support the organisation's IT infrastructure. The role involves handling both hardware and software issues (50%) along with networking, server administration, and firewall management (50%). Candidates with experience supporting BPO environments will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & Software Support (50%)
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application-related issues.
Provide technical support to end users and resolve IT tickets within defined SLAs.
Install, upgrade, and maintain software applications and antivirus solutions.
Manage user accounts, email configurations, and system access permissions.
Perform regular system maintenance and health checks.
Networking, Server & Firewall Management (50%)
Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and network devices.
Manage Windows/Linux servers and ensure optimal performance.
Perform server backup, restoration, and routine maintenance activities.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewall policies and security settings.
Monitor network performance and ensure uptime and security compliance.
Coordinate with vendors/ISPs for issue resolution when required.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows/ Ubuntu/Open Source Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Hands-on experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN).
Experience in server administration and maintenance.
Knowledge of firewall configuration and network security.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and user support abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1–2 years of experience as a System Administrator, IT Support Engineer, or similar role.
Experience in a BPO or call centre environment will be an added advantage.
Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent are desirable.
