TechGuide is an established IT Hardware Infrastructure company delivering end-to-end technology solutions to businesses across Mumbai. We specialize in supply, installation, and support of enterprise IT hardware systems.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Hardware Engineer who will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT hardware at both our office and client sites. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, client-friendly, and comfortable with field work.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Hardware Installation & Configuration

• Installation and setup of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals

• Server installation and basic configuration

• Rack mounting, cable management, and networking setup

• Router, switch, firewall installation and basic configuration

• NAS storage setup

🛠 Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues

• Replace faulty components (RAM, SSD, SMPS, motherboards, etc.)

• Provide on-site and remote support to clients

• Coordinate with OEM service teams when required

🧰 Client Site Work

• Visit client locations for installations and breakdown calls

• Ensure timely resolution of complaints

• Maintain professional communication with client IT teams

📋 Documentation

• Maintain installation reports and service logs

• Record serial numbers, warranty details, and configurations

• Update internal team on job completion status

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components

• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, IP configuration, router setup)

• Understanding of Windows OS installation and troubleshooting

• Ability to assemble and troubleshoot PCs

• Familiarity with printers and basic server hardware

• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Hardware, or related field

• Certification such as CCNA (preferred but not mandatory)

• Experience in IT infrastructure or system integration company

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel within Mumbai for client visits

• Two-wheeler preferred

• Responsible and disciplined work attitude
