Technocomp is looking for Computer Hardware Engineer
A Computer Hardware Engineer is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems, peripherals, and network devices. The role involves diagnosing hardware faults, upgrading systems, and ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and configure desktop computers, laptops, and servers
Install and upgrade hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, SMPS, etc.)
Diagnose and repair hardware issues in desktops, laptops, and printers
Perform OS installation, formatting, and driver configuration
Troubleshoot networking issues (LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity)
Handle data backup and recovery (basic to advanced level)
Install and configure peripherals (printers, scanners, CCTV, etc.)
Perform preventive maintenance and AMC support
Coordinate with vendors for warranty and repairs
Maintain service reports and documentation
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and components
Basic networking knowledge (IP configuration, router setup)
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Windows OS installation and configuration
Familiarity with data recovery tools and techniques
Ability to work on-site and handle multiple service calls
Good communication and customer handling skills
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Computer Hardware, IT, or related field
Certification in Hardware & Networking (preferred)
1–3 years of experience (or fresher with good practical knowledge)
