About the Role

Catnip Infotech Private Limited is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about IT infrastructure, technical support, networking, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's IT

infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, assisting employees with technical issues, and maintaining IT assets and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, and network related issues.

• Troubleshoot Windows operating system, Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, printer,

internet, and application issues.

• Create, manage, and maintain employee email accounts and user access.

• Assist in configuring Microsoft 365 services and Windows-based systems.

• Support LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting.

• Install antivirus software, operating system updates, and security patches.

• Maintain inventory records of laptops, desktops, accessories, and software licenses.

• Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing and configuring IT

assets.

• Monitor system backups and report any failures or issues.

• Coordinate with hardware vendors, software providers, and internet service

providers whenever required.

• Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and support ticket records.

• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity guidelines, and

information security standards.

• Assist in maintaining endpoint security solutions and routine system health checks.

• Perform preventive maintenance of IT equipment and recommend improvements

where required.

Eligibility

• B.Sc., BCA, B.E., B.Tech, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science,

Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.

• Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.

• Basic understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and Windows operating

systems.

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as IP Addressing, LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS,

DHCP, and VPN.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.

• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Eagerness to learn emerging technologies and adapt to new environments.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows Server or Linux administration.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and endpoint protection.

• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, or Microsoft Entra ID is an added

advantage.

• Exposure to scripting using PowerShell or Python is desirable.

• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

(AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner, or cybersecurity certifications will be an added

advantage.
