Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to end-users. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure smooth IT operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, Mac) and software applications
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a timely manner
Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights
Support network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Install and configure antivirus and security software
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
Assist in system upgrades and patch management
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking
Familiarity with Active Directory and remote desktop tools
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of hardware components and peripherals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
