# Job Title: Software Sales Executive
## Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented **Software Sales Executive** to drive sales of our software solutions and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their business needs, presenting suitable software solutions, and closing deals to achieve revenue targets.
## Key Responsibilities
* Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, references, digital outreach, and lead generation activities.
* Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate software products/services to meet their business needs.
* Conduct product presentations, software demos, and sales meetings with prospective clients.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Follow up on leads, inquiries, and proposals in a timely and professional manner.
* Prepare and deliver sales pitches, quotations, and business proposals.
* Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close sales deals effectively.
* Coordinate with the technical/product team for solution demonstrations and customer onboarding support.
* Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales performance in CRM/software tools.
* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities.
## Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in software sales, SaaS sales, IT sales, or B2B sales will be preferred.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to understand software products and explain technical concepts in a simple business-focused manner.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
* Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.
* Strong relationship-building and customer handling skills.
## Preferred Candidate Profile
* 6 months – 3 years of experience in software/IT sales.
* Experience in selling SaaS products, enterprise software, CRM, ERP, HRMS, EdTech, or digital solutions is an advantage.
* Good understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
* Comfortable with field visits, client meetings, and virtual sales presentations.
