Role Overview
As a Relationship Officer (Institutional Alliances), you will serve as the primary bridge between The Prayas India and higher education institutions (degree colleges, engineering institutes, management colleges, etc.) across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai. Your core objective will be to establish strategic college tie-ups, secure permissions for on-campus career guidance seminars, organise mock test drives, and drive student enrollment funnel through institutional partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Institutional Outreach & College Tie-ups
Conduct regular field visits to colleges across assigned clusters in Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.
Connect with key stakeholders—Training & Placement Officers (TPOs), HODs, Principals, and Student Council heads—to present partner proposals.
Execute MoUs and institutional agreements for exclusive career workshops, competitive exam orientation sessions, and skill development programs.
2. Seminar & Event Coordination
Pitch, organize, and execute physical/hybrid career guidance seminars, mock test sessions, and expert masterclasses on college campuses.
Coordinate with internal academic and mentor teams to schedule speaker sessions and deliver seamless event experiences.
Manage post-seminar feedback and student data collection during on-campus drives.
3. Lead Generation & Admission Tie-ups
Drive qualified student leads generated from college seminars, workshops, and campus activities toward enrollment in offline centers or online courses.
Plan joint academic initiatives (e.g., free mock tests, competitive exam guidance desks) to capture prospective aspirants.
Follow up with institutional partners for recurring annual tie-ups and student batch referrals.
4. Market Intelligence & Relationship Management
Build and sustain long-term, trustworthy relationships with college authorities and student networks.
Map colleges in assigned territories, keeping track of academic schedules, exam dates, and festival calendars to time outreach efforts effectively.
Monitor competitor presence across campuses and provide actionable market feedback to management.
5. Reporting & Pipeline Tracking
Maintain daily visit logs, institutional contact databases, and campaign pipelines on CRM / Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
Meet and exceed weekly and monthly targets for college visits, seminar sign-ups, and student lead targets.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Education: Graduate in any discipline (BBA, B.Com, BMS, B.Sc, B.E.) or MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Sales (preferred).
Experience: 0 to 3 years in EdTech, Institutional Sales, Field Sales, B2B Sales, or Education Partnerships. (Enthusiastic freshers with strong communication and field confidence are encouraged to apply.)
Territory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the geographical locations and college networks across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.
Communication & Presentation: Outstanding verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the confidence to deliver pitches to senior college management and address large student gatherings.
Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively on a daily basis across assigned territories (Mumbai/Thane/Navi Mumbai).
