Operation Manager

An Operations Manager in a manpower supply company ensures seamless staff deployment by Supervisor team, matching workforce supply with client demand while managing compliance, budgeting, and performance. Key responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling, training, ensuring labor law compliance, and fostering client relationships to meet operational goals.

Core Roles and Responsibilities:

• Workforce Planning & Deployment: Forecasting client manpower needs, scheduling shifts, and ensuring timely deployment of personnel to client sites.

• Recruitment & Talent Management: Collaborating with HR to source, vet, and select candidates to ensure a qualified pool of labor.

• Client Relationship Management: Acting as the main point of contact for clients to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and addressing issues efficiently.

• Compliance & Safety: Ensuring strict adherence to labor laws, safety regulations, and industry-specific compliance standards (e.g., OHSA).

• Operational Efficiency & Quality Control: Monitoring performance metrics (KPIs) to improve productivity and implementing quality control measures to maintain service standards.

• Financial & Budget Management: Managing operational costs, controlling expenses, overseeing payroll preparation, and ensuring profitability.

• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinating with external vendors for uniforms, transportation, or training, and collaborating with internal teams like finance and sales.

• Performance Reporting: Preparing reports on operational efficiency, recruitment progress, and worker performance for senior management.
