About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and target-driven Solar Sales Executive who will be the face of Avion Solar in the market. This person will generate leads, educate customers, present solar solutions, and close deals for residential, commercial, and agricultural solar installations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation
• Identify and approach potential customers in residential colonies, commercial complexes, industries, and agricultural areas
• Generate leads through door-to-door visits, referrals, cold calls, and local networking
• Coordinate with marketing team for digital leads and follow up promptly
• Attend local events, exhibitions, and farmer meets to generate solar awareness
• Build relationships with electricians, contractors, and builders as referral partners
• Maintain a daily lead tracker with contact details and follow-up status
Customer Engagement & Education
• Visit customer sites and explain solar benefits, savings, and ROI clearly
• Educate customers on PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and available subsidies
• Address customer concerns regarding installation, maintenance, and electricity savings
• Present customized solar proposals based on customer electricity consumption
• Share success stories and case studies of existing installations
Sales Proposal & Closing
• Coordinate with Site Audit Engineer for site feasibility and system design
• Prepare and present quotations and proposals to customers
• Explain payment options — cash, EMI, solar loans, and subsidy benefits
• Negotiate and close deals within company pricing guidelines
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Collect advance payments and signed agreements from customers
Customer Relationship Management
• Maintain strong post-sale relationships with customers
• Coordinate with Project Coordinator for smooth installation updates
• Follow up for referrals and testimonials from satisfied customers
• Maintain complete customer data in CRM or Excel tracker
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Any Graduate — B.Com / BBA / B.Tech preferred
Experience
1–4 years in field sales — solar, FMCG, insurance, or related
Strong convincing and presentation skills
Local Knowledge
Good understanding of local areas in Visakhapatnam
Basic MS Excel, WhatsApp Business, Google Maps
VehicleTwo-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory)
