Job Description – Sales Executive (Government Tenders, GeM Portal & IndiaMART)
Job Summary-
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Sales Executive to manage Government Tenders, GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal, and IndiaMART inquiries. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, preparing tender documents, generating leads, coordinating with clients, and converting inquiries into sales.
Key Responsibilities
Search and identify relevant Government Tenders through various tender portals.
Manage and operate the GeM Portal, including bid participation, product listing, order processing, and compliance requirements.
Handle IndiaMART inquiries, respond to customer requirements, and generate new business opportunities.
Prepare and submit tender documents, quotations, technical specifications, and commercial bids.
Coordinate with government departments, contractors, EPC companies, and procurement teams.
Follow up on submitted bids, quotations, and pending orders.
Maintain records of tenders, bids, orders, and customer communications.
Develop new customers and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
Achieve monthly sales targets and business development objectives.
Coordinate internally with accounts, logistics, and management teams for smooth order execution.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Government Tendering Process.
Hands-on experience with GeM Portal operations.
Experience handling IndiaMART leads and inquiries.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email correspondence.
Ability to prepare quotations, BOQs, and tender documentation.
Understanding of procurement procedures and vendor registration processes.
