About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) with experience in Industrial Marketing and B2B Sales to drive business growth, develop new customer relationships, and expand our market presence. The candidate should have experience in industrial product marketing, customer acquisition, and market development. The role involves regular field visits, customer meetings, and business travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and generate potential leads.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, and industrial market surveys.

• Generate enquiries, follow up with customers, and convert leads into business.

• Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

• Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions.

• Handle negotiations, commercial discussions, and follow-ups with clients.

• Monitor industrial market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

• Develop business relationships with manufacturers, distributors, dealers, contractors, and industrial clients.

• Coordinate with the internal sales and operations teams for smooth order execution.

• Maintain regular records of customer visits, enquiries, follow-ups, and sales activities.

• Explore and develop new industrial markets and customer segments.

🚗 Mandatory Driving Requirement

• Candidate must be an experienced and confident car driver with a valid driving licence.

• Must be comfortable driving independently for customer meetings, industrial market visits, and business travel.

• Since this is a field-based role involving frequent customer visits and travelling, independent car driving is mandatory.

• Candidate should be willing to travel locally and, whenever required, for outstation business visits.

Candidate Profile

• Male candidate preferred.

• Graduate in any discipline; relevant sales or business development qualifications will be an advantage.

• 2–5 years of experience in Industrial Marketing, Business Development, or B2B Sales is mandatory.

• Experience in industrial products, welding consumables, welding electrodes, manufacturing, or related industries will be preferred.

• Must have a good understanding of industrial markets, customer acquisition, lead generation, and dealer/distributor development.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and confident in handling clients independently.

• Good knowledge of MS Office and basic sales reporting.

• Willingness to work in a field-sales environment and travel as required.
