Job Description – Business Development Executive

Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE)

Industry: HVACR / Cold Chain / Refrigeration Solutions

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive sales and business growth for our cold chain and refrigeration solutions. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in the FMCG, Ice Cream, Frozen Foods, Frozen Products, Dairy, or Cold Chain industry and possess strong relationships with key decision-makers in these sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the FMCG, Ice Cream, Frozen Foods, Dairy, Cold Chain, and Refrigeration sectors.

• Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, manufacturers, processors, and corporate clients.

• Promote the company's Cold Rooms, Refrigeration Systems, PUF Panels, Blast Freezers, IQF Solutions, Reefer Vehicles, and other cold chain products.

• Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and technical discussions.

• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

• Coordinate with the design, projects, and service teams for successful project execution.

• Ensure timely payment collection and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Maintain CRM records and submit regular sales reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

• MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 3–8 years of business development or sales experience.

• Mandatory experience in one or more of the following industries:

  • FMCG

  • Ice Cream

  • Frozen Foods

  • Frozen Products

  • Dairy

  • Cold Chain Management

  • Refrigeration Industry

  • Food Processing

Required Skills

• Strong business development and sales skills.

• Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.

• Good understanding of cold chain logistics and refrigeration applications.

• Ability to identify customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Existing network within FMCG, Ice Cream, Frozen Foods, Dairy, or Cold Chain industries.

• Experience selling refrigeration equipment, cold rooms, reefer vehicles, or food processing solutions.

• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
