Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive Amazon Pay merchant onboarding. The role involves acquiring new merchants, building strong relationships with business owners, and increasing Amazon Pay acceptance across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and onboard new merchants for Amazon Pay.
• Visit retail outlets, shops, and businesses to promote Amazon Pay solutions.
• Explain product features, benefits, and onboarding processes to merchants.
• Achieve monthly onboarding and activation targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants.
• Ensure proper KYC and documentation during onboarding.
• Provide post-onboarding support to merchants.
• Track daily activities and report progress to management.
Requirements:
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience in field sales, business development, fintech, payments, or merchant acquisition preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
• Comfortable with fieldwork and local market visits.
• Basic knowledge of digital payments is an advantage.
