Key Job Responsibilities:
Inspection & Testing:
Perform in-line, end-of-line, and pre-final/final audits on sewing and finishing floors.
Inspect incoming fabric/trims for quality, color consistency, and defects
.
Conduct tests for shrinkage, colorfastness, and needle detection (metal detection).
Measurement & Specifications:
Verify garment measurements against approved tech-pack/size spec sheets.
Check for proper garment style, stitching quality, and overall workmanship.
Ensure accurate placement of artwork, labels, and accessories.
Production Monitoring:
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to buyer requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Identify, document, and report defects to the production team for immediate corrective action.
Reporting & Compliance:
Maintain detailed inspection reports, quality records, and traffic light charts.
Ensure compliance with Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards.
