About the Role

We are looking for a creative, trend-focused and data-driven Social Media Executive who understands social media from basic execution to advanced strategy. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple brands, create effective social media calendars, identify trends, coordinate content production and analyse performance to continuously improve results.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan and create monthly and weekly social media content calendars for different brands.

· Develop platform-specific content plans for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.

· Research trending topics, Reels, audios, formats, memes and content opportunities.

· Generate creative concepts for Reels, static posts, carousels, Stories and short-form videos.

· Write engaging captions, hooks, CTAs and social media copy.

· Prepare clear creative briefs for designers, video editors and content creators.

· Coordinate with designers, editors and internal teams to ensure timely content delivery.

· Schedule, publish and manage content across social media platforms.

· Maintain consistency in each client's brand voice, visual identity and communication style.

· Monitor comments, DMs, mentions and audience interactions where required.

· Track competitors and identify new content opportunities.

· Stay updated with social media algorithms, platform updates and best practices.

· Analyse reach, impressions, engagement, views, watch time, follower growth, profile visits, clicks and other relevant KPIs.

· Prepare weekly and monthly social media performance reports.

· Convert insights and analytics into actionable recommendations for future content.

· Identify high-performing and low-performing content and explain why it worked or did not work.

· Participate in brainstorming for campaigns, launches, topical content and special occasions.

· Manage multiple client accounts while maintaining calendars, approvals and posting timelines.

Required Skills

· Strong understanding of social media from basic to advanced level.

· Strong knowledge of Instagram and Meta platforms, with a good understanding of LinkedIn and YouTube.

· Excellent understanding of Reels, trends and short-form content.

· Content strategy and social media calendar planning.

· Social media analytics, reporting and insights.

· Good copywriting and communication skills.

· Competitor and trend research.

· Basic understanding of Canva and design principles.

· Ability to create clear briefs for designers and video editors.

· Understanding of hashtags, keywords and social SEO.

· Ability to handle multiple brands simultaneously.

· Good organisational and time-management skills.

Tools Knowledge – Preferred

· Meta Business Suite and Instagram Insights

· LinkedIn Analytics and YouTube Studio

· Canva

· Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel

· Google Analytics – basic understanding

· AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, ideation and productivity

· Social media scheduling and reporting tools

We're not looking for someone who only knows how to upload posts. We need someone who can understand a brand, research its audience, identify trends, develop content ideas, create a structured calendar, coordinate execution and use performance data to improve the next month's strategy.
