
The Delivery Boy will be responsible for delivering products safely, accurately, and on time to customers. This role involves maintaining good customer relations, handling cash or online payments when required, and ensuring proper documentation of deliveries.
Pick up and deliver products to customers as per assigned routes and schedules.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders.
Verify and cross-check delivery items with invoices before dispatch.
Collect payments (cash/online) and submit them to the accounts team daily.
Maintain delivery records and obtain customer signatures or confirmations.
Handle products carefully to avoid damage or spillage.
Communicate effectively with customers and the operations team for any delivery issues.
Follow company safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle/bag.
Report any delays, accidents, or delivery-related concerns immediately to the supervisor.
Requirements
Must have a valid driving license (two-wheeler).
Basic knowledge of using smartphone apps (for navigation or order tracking).
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Punctual, reliable, and responsible attitude.
Prior experience in delivery (preferred but not mandatory).
