The Telecaller is responsible for contacting prospective patients, clients, or referral sources via phone calls to promote hospital services, generate leads, schedule appointments, and provide information in a professional and courteous manner. The role requires strong communication skills, patience, and attention to detail.
Make outbound calls to prospective patients, corporates, or referral sources.
Follow up on inbound inquiries from calls, emails, or website inquiries.
Maintain a database of leads, prospects, and client interactions.
Schedule patient appointments for consultations, procedures, or hospital events.
Coordinate with OPD, IPD, or specialty departments to confirm schedules.
Ensure accurate and timely communication of appointment details.
Provide clear information about hospital services, packages, and offers.
Handle basic queries and escalate complex issues to relevant departments.
Maintain a professional and empathetic approach to callers.
Maintain call logs and lead tracking sheets in CRM or Excel.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on calls made, leads generated, and appointments scheduled.
Provide feedback to marketing or department heads regarding call outcomes.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and patient coordination teams.
Participate in promotional campaigns and tele-calling drives.
Support departmental initiatives for improving patient acquisition and satisfaction.
