Job Summary

SMFG is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Telecalling Officers / Executives to join the team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have experience in customer support or telecalling, preferably within the banking/financial products sector, with good communication skills in Telugu and Kannada.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally.

• Assist customers with queries related to banking and financial products.

• Explain product features, eligibility, and process details clearly to customers.

• Follow up with customers regarding applications, documents, and service requests.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups.

• Resolve basic customer queries and escalate complex issues to the concerned team.

• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain professional communication.

• Achieve assigned calling, follow-up, and service-related targets.

• Follow company policies, processes, and compliance guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline preferred.

• Freshers to 6 months of experience in customer support, telecalling, or banking-related processes.

• Candidates with banking product experience will be preferred.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Telugu and Kannada language proficiency is mandatory.

• Customer-focused attitude with good interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain records.

• Candidates should be comfortable working from the Porur, Chennai location.
