Payment Recovery Executive

Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Description

We are looking for a Payment Recovery Executive to handle outstanding payments from customers and ensure timely collection of dues.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow up with customers for pending and overdue payments.

- Maintain records of outstanding invoices and payment commitments.

- Contact customers through calls and messages regarding due payments.

- Coordinate with the sales/accounts team regarding payment status.

- Track promised payment dates and ensure timely follow-up.

- Resolve basic payment-related queries and discrepancies.

- Prepare regular reports on outstanding payments and recovery status.

- Maintain professional but firm communication with customers.

Requirements

- Good communication and follow-up skills.

- Basic knowledge of Excel and accounting/invoicing.

- Ability to handle difficult conversations and negotiate payment timelines.

- Comfortable making frequent phone calls and following up with customers.

- Previous experience in payment recovery, collections, accounts, or field collections will be preferred.
