Job Summary
We are looking for a Customer Service Executive with 1–3 years of freight forwarding experience to manage customer shipments from booking through final delivery. The candidate will coordinate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely shipment movement.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor air, ocean, and land shipments and ensure timely delivery.
Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, tracking updates, and delays.
Prepare and verify Bills of Lading, Arrival Notices, customs documents, and other shipping paperwork.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents for bookings and shipment movement.
Handle and resolve issues related to customs holds, delays, routing, and documentation.
Prepare and update Daily Status Reports (DSR) using customized formats.
Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates to customers.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics is mandatory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good customer handling, coordination, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Basic knowledge of Incoterms and Import/Export procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with S.Line / E-commerce portals or logistics software is preferred.
Candidates with hands-on experience in freight forwarding customer service will be preferred.
