Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoor Chef for a client location in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of tandoor operations, food preparation, and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of tandoori dishes while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and kitchen standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook tandoori dishes such as kebabs, tikkas, naan, roti, and other tandoor-based items.
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Operate and maintain the tandoor safely and efficiently.
Prepare marinades, sauces, and ingredients as per recipes and standards.
Monitor food quality and portion control to minimize wastage.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and tandoor section.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service.
Manage inventory of tandoor-related ingredients and report shortages.
Follow food safety guidelines and company SOPs.
Assist in menu development and introduce new tandoori preparations when required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tandoor Chef.
Strong knowledge of tandoori cuisine and cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining quality standards.
Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
