Job Title: South Indian Chef

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate South Indian Chef with hands-on experience in preparing authentic South Indian cuisine. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining taste consistency, quality, and hygiene while ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambhar, chutneys, and regional specialties
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
Manage mise en place and ensure readiness for service
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchase team for raw materials
Minimize wastage and ensure cost control in food production
Supervise kitchen helpers/assistants and ensure smooth workflow
Ensure timely preparation during peak hours
Follow standard recipes and company SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2–6 years of experience as a South Indian Chef in restaurants or hotels
Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
Ability to handle bulk cooking and high-volume orders
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Team player with good time management skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:
Candidates with experience in restaurants, QSRs, or catering kitchens preferred
