Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Chef Cum Cake Decorator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and customized cake decorations while maintaining presentation and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, brownies, cookies, and other baked products.
Design and decorate customized cakes as per customer requirements.
Handle fondant work, cream finishing, theme cakes, and dessert presentation.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team for timely order execution.
Innovate and introduce new dessert and cake designs periodically.
Monitor wastage and maintain cost control.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of baking and pastry preparation.
Expertise in cake decoration and finishing techniques.
Knowledge of fondant, whipped cream, ganache, and chocolate work.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good team coordination and time management skills.
Qualification
Diploma or certification in Bakery & Pastry Arts preferred.
Relevant experience in reputed bakery/pastry kitchens.
