About the Role
The Kitchen Apprentice program is created for young, passionate individuals who want to begin their culinary journey. You will learn foundational kitchen skills from expert chefs, understand CL-standard recipes, and support food preparation, cutting, cleaning, and basic cooking tasks.
This is a hands-on learning role that sets you up to grow into a Line Cook or Commis within 12–18 months.
Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs with basic food preparation (cutting, cleaning, sorting, portioning).
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and workstation setup as per SOPs.
Support mise en place for daily shifts.
Learn CL recipes, kitchen standards, and equipment handling.
Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Ensure wastage is kept minimal and accurately reported.
Support Line Cooks during peak hours.
