Prepare food items according to approved recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
Assist in food preparation, cooking, plating, and order assembly.
Maintain consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
Ensure all food products are fresh, properly stored, and within expiry dates.
Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
Keep kitchen equipment, workstations, utensils, and storage areas clean and organized.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
Monitor stock levels and inform the Kitchen Supervisor of shortages or wastage.
Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
Follow proper temperature-control procedures for cooking, cooling, and storage.
Maintain personal hygiene, including clean uniform, gloves, hair restraints, and proper handwashing.
Follow all company SOPs, safety procedures, and kitchen standards.
Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality and accuracy.
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are prepared on time.
Report damaged equipment, food-quality issues, or safety hazards immediately.
Perform opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
Support other kitchen team members and carry out additional duties assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor/Manager.
