Cook / Chef – Gujarati, Kathiyawadi & Punjabi Cuisine.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cook/Chef specializing in Gujarati, Kathiyawadi, and Punjabi cuisines. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic, high-quality meals while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and taste standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a wide variety of dishes including:
Gujarati cuisine: Dal, Kadhi, Shaak, Thepla, Undhiyu, etc.
Kathiyawadi cuisine: Sev Tameta, Lasaniya Bataka, Ringan no Olo, Rotla, etc.
Punjabi cuisine: Dal Makhani, Paneer dishes, Paratha, Naan, Curries, etc.
Ensure authentic taste, presentation, and consistency of all dishes.
Plan daily menus and assist in menu development based on requirements.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards as per guidelines.
Monitor and manage inventory, stock, and kitchen supplies.
Ensure proper use of ingredients and minimize wastage.
Handle bulk cooking if required (corporate meals, events, staff meals, etc.).
Coordinate with kitchen staff and support team.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and working station.
Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience (2–5+ years) as a Cook/Chef in Gujarati/Kathiyawadi/Punjabi cuisine
Strong knowledge of spices, traditional cooking techniques, and regional recipes
Ability to cook both veg meals (mandatory) (non-veg optional if required)
Good time management and ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Team player with a positive attitude
