Job Title: Indian Cook (Commi 1)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Indian Cook (Commi 1) to prepare authentic Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. The role requires a strong knowledge of regional Indian cuisines, spices, and cooking techniques.
Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoor items, biryanis, and snacks.
Maintain consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation according to restaurant standards.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and kitchen procedures.
Assist in menu development and introduce creative variations in Indian cuisine.
Operate kitchen equipment like tandoor, grills, and gas stoves safely.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize wastage.
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Proven experience as an Indian Cook / Commi 1 in a professional kitchen.
In-depth knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and regional dishes.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety protocols.
Culinary diploma or certification preferred but not mandatory.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Mastery of Indian flavors and spice blends.
Time management and multitasking abilities.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Creativity in plating and presentation.
Salary: 20000 INR to 25000 INR or Depending upon experience.
