Job Title: South Indian Chef (CDP – Chef de Partie)

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced South Indian Chef (CDP) to prepare authentic and high-quality South Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and service. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of regional South Indian cuisines, cooking methods, and traditional flavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes including dosas, idlis, vadas, upma, sambar, rasam, curries, and chutneys.

• Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.

• Follow recipes and kitchen procedures while introducing creative variations when required.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment such as dosa tawa, steamers, and grinders.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, strictly adhering to food safety standards.

• Monitor ingredient freshness and manage stock rotation to reduce wastage.

• Coordinate with kitchen team members for smooth and timely service.

• Assist in menu planning and contribute new dish ideas.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a South Indian Chef, CDP, or similar role in a professional kitchen.

• Strong knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques, spices, and traditional recipes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

• Knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols in food preparation.

• Culinary diploma/certification preferred but not mandatory.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Salary: 30000 INR to 35000 INR Or Depending on Experience.
