Job Title: Indian Cuisine Chef (Vegetarian Specialist)

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Cuisine Chef with a strong focus on vegetarian main course dishes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing a variety of authentic and contemporary Indian vegetarian dishes, ensuring high quality, taste, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian vegetarian main course dishes (e.g., paneer, lentils, curries, regional specialties)

• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion sizes

• Develop and innovate new vegetarian recipes and menu items

• Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are followed

• Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role

• Specialization in vegetarian Indian cuisine

• Knowledge of regional Indian dishes (North Indian, South Indian, etc.)

• Ability to work in a team and handle pressure

• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary degree or relevant certification

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

• Creativity and passion for vegetarian cooking
