Indian & Chinese Cook – Coastal Cravings
We are looking for an experienced Indian & Chinese Cook to join the team at Coastal Cravings and prepare delicious, high-quality meals for our guests. The key responsibilities include preparing authentic Indian & Chinese dishes, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Indian & Chinese dishes with consistent taste and presentation
Ensure compliance with all kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards
Set up kitchen stations with required utensils and cooking equipment
Cook and serve food in a timely manner, especially during rush hours and online orders
Study recipes and prepare ingredients efficiently before service
Supervise kitchen helpers and coordinate tasks when required
Modify dishes according to customer preferences whenever possible
Check freshness of ingredients and discard expired items
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
Monitor stock levels and inform management about shortages or requirements
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Indian & Chinese cuisine
Knowledge of gravies, starters, fried rice, noodles, biryani, and tandoor is preferred
Familiarity with cooking techniques, recipes, and kitchen sanitation standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant/cloud kitchen environment
Good time management and teamwork skills
Ability to handle pressure during peak hours
Culinary certification or hotel management background is an added advantage
Salary: Best in industry / Based on experience
Location: St. Inez, Panaji, Goa
