Job Description – Cook
Cafe Laapata | Kada Agrahara, Sarjapur, Bangalore
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team at Cafe Laapata. The ideal candidate should have experience preparing Indian snacks, street food, and café-style dishes while maintaining quality, taste, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items as per the cafe's menu and standard recipes.
- Specialise in Indian snacks, breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, parathas, chaat, etc.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of food.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with the team for daily requirements.
- Ensure proper food storage and minimise wastage.
- Handle orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Follow food safety standards and kitchen protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook in a cafe, restaurant, or food outlet preferred.
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and fast-food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management and teamwork skills.
- Punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
