Key Responsibilities (Home Cook)

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and cook dishes from multiple cuisines such as Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian, or regional specialties as assigned

• Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines

• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of food

• Prepare mise-en-place before service hours

Kitchen Operations

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations

• Ensure timely preparation and service of food

• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow

• Monitor food quality during preparation and before service

Hygiene & Food Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and workstations

• Follow food safety standards, hygiene practices, and FSSAI guidelines

• Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food

• Handle food safely to avoid contamination

Inventory & Cost Control

• Assist in monitoring stock levels and minimizing food wastage

• Report any shortage or spoilage of ingredients

• Use ingredients efficiently as per kitchen standards

Compliance & Discipline

• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff

• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork
