Job Title: South Indian Cook / North Indian Cook
Department: Kitchen / Food & Beverage Operations
Location: Bengaluru
Reporting To: Chef / Kitchen Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced and skilled South Indian and North Indian Cooks to prepare high-quality, hygienic, and tasty food while maintaining kitchen standards and following food safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic South Indian / North Indian dishes as per the menu and standard recipes.

• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

• Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

• Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of food materials.

• Follow portion control and minimize food wastage.

• Coordinate with the Chef, Kitchen Manager, and other kitchen staff.

• Maintain cleanliness of cooking equipment and workstations.

• Follow company SOPs and kitchen safety procedures.

• Support smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience as a South Indian Cook or North Indian Cook.

• Good knowledge of relevant cuisines and cooking techniques.

• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Experience

2–8 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Dishes

South Indian Cook:
Dosa, Idli, Vada, Uttapam, Sambar, Rasam, Chutneys, Rice varieties, etc.

North Indian Cook:
Roti, Naan, Paratha, Curries, Gravies, Dal, Paneer dishes, Tandoori items, etc.
