Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages as required.

• Prepare South Indian, North Indian, and other preferred cuisines based on the family’s requirements.

• Plan daily menus and ensure variety in meals.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness.

• Purchase or coordinate the purchase of fresh vegetables, groceries, meat, and other kitchen requirements when needed.

• Maintain proper storage and handling of food items.

• Keep the kitchen, cooking equipment, utensils, and work area clean and organized.

• Follow specific dietary instructions, food preferences, and portion requirements.

• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.

• Minimize food wastage and maintain proper usage of groceries.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding the household and family matters.

• Perform other cooking-related duties as assigned by the family.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: No formal qualification required; culinary training will be an advantage.

• Experience: Minimum 6–10 years of experience as a Personal Cook / Private Cook / Household Cook.

• Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and home-style cooking.

• Should have good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.

• Should be well-mannered, disciplined, trustworthy, and punctual.

• Should maintain personal hygiene and a neat appearance.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Should be flexible with menu changes and occasional extended working hours.

• References from previous employers are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Excellent cooking and food presentation skills.

• Ability to understand and follow dietary preferences.

• Good kitchen management and grocery planning.

• Knowledge of healthy and nutritious meal preparation.

• Ability to maintain complete privacy and confidentiality.

Working Conditions

• Work at the MD’s residence.

• Working hours may vary depending on the family’s daily schedule.

• Flexibility may be required for special occasions, guests, or travel, if applicable.
